But what really unites all of them is the feeling of empowerment that they all expressed while candidly posing in the lingerie. Cancer survivor Meredith, for example, explained that she took part in the shoot because she want to help others who have, or have had, breast cancer that there is life beyond the disease. 'I did this project with Anine Bing because I want women to see that there is life after breast cancer, and that you can still be yourself and empowered,' she explained. New mother Kylee, meanwhile, who was nine-months pregnant when she did her shoot in her home in California, discussed her desire to 'raise a young girl with a voice who sticks up for herself'. 'Rae Lynn Hollister was born 7lbs 13oz and Kylee tells us: "Aside from telling her how cute she is, I also tell her how strong she is. She had to be in the NICU after she was born because she was having trouble clearing the fluid from her lungs. But she fought through fast, and is healthy and just perfect. I'm proud of her for entering the world a strong little lady from the get-go."' Each biography is followed by the woman in question's personal reason for buying lingerie, whether it be for comfort, for feeling 'sexy' or for simply treating themselves. The photos and the stories are being posted on the brand's Instagram page with the hashtag #AnineBingStories. As for the lingerie, the outfits on show include a re-launch of some of the brand's most popular items as well as a few new styles added into the line.
